A move to Microsoft 365 should feel like a quiet weekend, not a lost week. The difference is in the planning.

Before the move

• List every mailbox, shared mailbox and alias
• Decide where shared files will live: SharePoint, Teams or OneDrive
• Clean out accounts for people who have left
• Choose the right license for each person, so you don’t pay for features nobody uses

During the move

Mail and files are copied in the background while everyone keeps working. The final switch happens outside business hours, so Monday morning everything is simply there.

After the move

• Two-step sign-in turned on for everyone
• Phones and laptops enrolled so lost devices can be wiped
• A short guide for staff on where things are now
